THE BEAST in 60 seconds

Tue, Sep 25, 2012

New York’s favorite (and only) jet-powered, extreme thrill boat is tearing its way into the fall season! Now providing our guests with action-packed fun for longer than ever, THE BEAST will be running until mid-October. So grab your wind-breaker, make your way down to pier 83, and hang on tight (THE BEAST reaches speeds of up to 45 mph)!

4 Great Sights on The Beast this fall:

1.    Hudson River Park – This bustling waterfront park runs from 59th street all the way to Battery Park. Popular activities in the park include biking, rollerblading, and jogging! Take in some of the crisp, refreshing fall air as you cruise along the Hudson River Park on THE BEAST this fall.

2.    Ellis Island – Once the busiest immigration center in the United States, the island now serves as The Ellis Island Immigration Museum, one of the country’s most popular historic sights. Visitors can research their ancestors through the American Family Immigration Center and piece together the history of their relatives who came to America through Ellis Island.

3.    Governor’s Island – Relatively isolated for most of the year, Governor’s Island offers some of the most beautiful fall scenery in all of New York City. Soak in the glowing foliage, as THE BEAST makes its pit stop at the Statue of Liberty.

4.    The Statue of Liberty— The most impressive and patriotic part of all BEAST tours is the unrivaled view of Lady Liberty! Get as close as you possibly can from the vantage point of New York Harbor, and take a snapshot in front of the definitive symbol of American Freedom!
